These blankets are produced with technology „Tufting“.

This unique process gives the blankets Larisa character, which supersedes in many technical parametrs, to that of the weaving method. Main advantages of this technology are material strength, life duration, texture richness, and thermal qualities.

A fundamental difference between tufting and weaving are their construction.

The woven method gains its surface fibres from weft, which also insures strength to the whole material,but from this aspect it is not possible to archieve greater thickness of the surface fibres, without the loss of strength.

The base cloth of Larisa blankets has both mechanical and physical properties for the tufting of medium fibres. In the manufacture of the surface fibres, the medium fibres are combed out from the centre of the material. This technique does not degrade the strength of the material, but positively enriches the thickness of the surface fibre.
